Glow in the Dark Fairy

This is a very special Doll, why? is my number 100 Doll made since I stared sculpting!! also is my very first Fairy and wanted it to be special, I made her entirely with Fi gmo Glow in the dark and my gosh she  does glow!! But no more word enjoy the WIP, hope you like her:

Este Concurso esta abierto  para Artesanos de todas partes del Mundo

Hey Artesanos de todo el mundo que gustan trabajar con arcilla (cualquier tipo) y ademas son fans de Tolkien? ¿Qué tal la película "Un viaje inesperado"? Pues ahora puedes dejar que tu talento y creatividad vuelen!

Estamos tratando de hacer esto simple es mas que nada por diversión y ver los hermosos trabajos que podamos crear, ya que hay muchos personajes en esta historia.

La idea es crear una pieza (Muñeco / Figura) basado en la película "The Hobbit Un viaje inesperado" Se pueden encontrar imágenes de referencia aquí: Hobbit Art Book

Usted es libre de utilizar cualquier tipo de pasta de modelar, sin preferencia de tamaño, ya que sólo tiene que enviar algunas fotos de la pieza terminada.

PREMIO:

Ojalá pudiera hacer esto más grande, pero por desgracia no asi que sólo habrá un ganador! Quien recibira (incluido gastos de envio): Una Revista de Coleccion Especial "The Hobbit", 5 Tarjetas de Fans, 2 bloques de fimo 56gr, un par de alas de hadas, Cabello de Cordero tibetano, Microesferas de vidrio, 03 ojos hechos a mano. Todo como lo muestran las fotos:

  

JURADO:
Quien organiza el concurso su servidora Noemi Smith estara dando una vista de referencia sobres los trabajos, pero ademas cuento con la ayuda de mi amigo Sandro Ulzugaray Escultor de Argentina quien sera el juez de este Concurso. Si tenemos menos de 10 entradas el Eligira solo un ganador, pero si hay mas de 10 entradas, seran preleccionados unos cuantos para ponerlo a votacion del publico.

REGLAS / ENTRADAS:

1. Para empezar, primero debes compartir este concurso en sus redes sociales, ayudar a promocionar! 
2. Si no lo has hecho todavía, por favor visite nuestra página Angels by Noemí y nos dan un "Me gusta" 
3. Tendrás del 1  al 31 de Enero para hacer el Muñeco / Figura. 
4. Muñecos / Figuras y esculturas solamente. 
5. Hasta 3 entradas se permiten por participante.  
6. Tiene que ser hecho a mano por usted! Cualquier tipo de arcilla se puede utilizar.
7. Una vez terminado el trabajo enviar hasta 03 fotografías (Vista de frente, izquierda y del lado derecho) a: info@angelsbynoemi.com  OJO: NO poner Nombre / Firma en fotos, pero sólo el título / nombre de la figura.
8. Su trabajo será el juzgado por la creatividad, detalles y cuánto se parecen al personaje elegido.

"The Hobbit" Inspired by Fans Contest

JANUARY 01  to 31 - 2013

This Contest is Open for all Creative Artists from around the World :) 

Hey Doll Artists and everyone who like to work with clay (Any type) are you a big Fan of Tolkien? How about the Movie "An Unexpected Journey"? Well now you can let your talent and creativity fly away! 
We're trying to make this very simple is mostly for fun and share as many creations as possible, as there is many characters to picture.

The Idea is to create a Piece (Doll/Figure) based on the Movie "The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey" You can find reference pictures here: Hobbit Art Book
You are free to use any kind of modelling clay, no size preference as you only need to send few pictures of your Finished Piece. 

PRIZE:
I wish can make this bigger but sadly I can't, there will be only one winner! to receive: A Collectors Magazine, 5 tradings Cards, 2 Fimo Blocks 56gr, a pair of Fairy wings, Tibetan Lamb Hair, Glass Beads, 03 hand made eyes. Everything as picture.

Angels by Noemi is hosting this Contest, I will give a review of the Entries but also my Dear Friend Sandro Ulzugaray Sculptor from Argentina will help as Juror for the Contest. If there is less than 10 Entries He will choose a Winner from them, but if there is more than 10 entries He will select several entries then will be put for public vote to come up with only one winner.

RULES/ENTRIES:

1. To begin you first need to share this Contest in your social networks, help spread the word!  
2. If you haven't done it yet, please visit our Page Angels by Noemi and give us a "Like"
3. You'll have from January 1st to 31st to make the Doll/figure.
4. Art Dolls/Figures or sculptures only. 
5. Up to 3 entries are allow.
6. It has to be handcrafted by you! Any kind of clay can be use.
7. Then you can send up to 03 Pictures (Front View, Left and Right Side Views) to: info@angelsbynoemi.com DO NOT put your name/signature on pictures but only the title/name of the Figure.
8. Your Work will be Judge on creativity, details and how much it resemble the character chosen.

All Entries will be Showcased on our Facebook Page. 

Winner will be announce Feb.  9th, 2013

Brigette WIP

I love making these kind of dolls it's just fun to play with things around , the next time will be a showgirl ... well enjoy this WIP:

I stared making the loveseat, out of an empty Juicy Couture powder round box, velvet and laces.

Sorry First pics are very low quality but she has glass like brown eyes.

Lingerie was painted mostly with genesis oils and lil' acrylics too and has a touch of tulle and laces

The hair is my Mohair yay the one I dye myself always available on my ETSY STORE but in order to look like this I first glue the hair on following my hair tutorial, the I have to styled almost the same way a real lady should have a nice 60's hair style.... wasn't easy :S. I use a tiny weenie comb some warm water to spray and my tiny bitty pinky to make up those curls, final touch with a light hair spray.
