Obitsu Project

Yeah, I'm working very fast in this project making (sculpting) a Head for a 27cm Obitsu BJD Body,
Thanks to my friends from the ODA My very first characters will be a Steampunk Girl and a Lolita.

Here is the First one, a Steampunk Girl (No name yet) I sculpted the head in polymer clay, acrylic eyes. I'm using an original Obitsu body which I have carve and sand a little for a more realistic looking and also add blushed and color, everything sealed with MSC UV

She's ready for being dress up....

This is a pic from the two Obitsu Bodies I have the one on right is the one I have altered for a better look, the one in left looks just like a toy body, can't really see this on the picture, there is quite difference between bodies:

And this are all the pics from my future Steampunk Doll:

I was kind of disappointed with the unpainted face but gosh there is a big difference once the face in paint, the only thing I forgot is to add some gloss on lips.. I will

And finally this is a Volks BJD 27cm that I bought and customized even the clothes, it was a present for my little Niece...

Making Mombi's Dress

Here is some pics of what I have from Mombi's dress, no patterns used, clothes wont be removable, I'm just finishing with the details on her under-dress, some fabric paints are working great for it, the white (cloudy) colors on the lines its because the golden paint still have to dry.

Yeah she has golden shoes!

Painting Mombi's Face (Head #1)

A little bit of painting work, In genesis Oils Paints.

And  once having her head done, I realized how big this head is and the weight, so I didn't trust much on the magnets alone, so I have to add a brass tube to reinforce the ability to be attach on the body.

And head#1 all painted:

Finishing with Mombi body and head

This is what I have so far, I;m done sculpting the body, have some blushes still have to paint the legs, shoes and nails.

I got a suggestion for using magnets on the heads, so I'm doing that, here is peek from her neck:

And right now I'm working on her Main Head, the evil one hehe... still an un-bake clay:

And the last pics of the day, I finished her face, will be baking then add the ears.

Princess Mombi

Wow what a long holiday weekend! But I'm back to work now, here some pics:

Mombi hand in my hands LOL

I wanted to make her full leg in clay but I just remember about her size... if I wanna make this Doll shipping safe I have to sculpt just half leg, this way she will be able to move a little, it will travel soft and loose with a minor risk of getting broke. So the upper part of her leg will be fill up (cotton and fabric) and cover with linen
