I can say my BJD is Finish

Pretty much, I think hair and outfit will be the add on LOL
But here she is posing for the cameras. I few personal reviews from this work:

1. You can't see on the pics (well maybe if you have a very good eye lol) but there is a lot of imperfections on her joints, some details on the composition of the body (hard to get good details because of the air dry clay)
2. The eyes are acrylic (Glib for BJD)
3. I was crazy trying to make a double jointed for my first Doll (way much work!!). And I didn't make it right joints can't really totally bend :(
4. The ball on thigh and legs are wood balls

And so... thanks for your comments... yep very soon I'll adding hair and making an outfit for my naked first BJD.

And I just finished her rear head and she pose for me for a couple well lighted pictures...

And I finally got the head painted ans eyes attach, and here is she.. kind of mad lol, I have to fix her joints, her neck is too thin as well as the arms and of course have to make her hands and feet

But this is what I have until now, Its a lot sunny in Southern California so I'm taking advantage of that hehe pieces are drying faster.

Thanks for watching!!

BJD Doll Still working on it

Ok, If I post pictures every day I'll bore your head off LOL, cause it takes a couple days to dry out and leave me keep working on in, here you can see the arms, I made a mistake.. I shouldn't cut the elbows on the first layer (I should wait until the second layer was complete) now is kind of hard to apply the second layer of clay...

Here I'm playing with the torso, can you see the difference? the chest is rough I haven't sand that jet, compare with the hip parts its all smooth and nicely sand...

Let's How it look with the head on:

Boy, I was ready to start painted the head 'til I realize ... she has no hears!! grrr NOw have to make the ears and wait for it to dry ... I may try that Lori Told me about baking a very low heat on the oven... I just can't stand waiting!!!

Ok head with ears complete!! Hey if you notice anything dis-proportional on this face let me know I still can make changes here

This is a bad pic but it has some of the pieces.. yeah you guess it ... getting dry!!

And that all for today, will be back in another couple day LOL, man! I will start making the one in Polymer Clay I bet that will be finish first LOL!!!!

One last word I really admire Hannie Sarris!!!!

Making a Ball Jointed Doll

And let's see how I will do this :S

First I pick a not so good kind of foam (its too soft) although it was easy to remove from the clay.
I'm working with a mix f LADoll and Premier Air dry clay... you can see in the pictures

My doll is small around 12 in tall, so I can't really do the hole inner body in foam, so for the arms and legs I used some brass tube.

And no more talk... but pictures :)
